Short definitions of the QuoteCore+ terms and concrete measurement types you will see in the app.

Concrete measurement types

Volume. The primary concrete measure, in m³. Used for ready-mix pours. The app multiplies slab area × slab thickness to get volume automatically when both are set on the component.

Area. A flat slab surface in m² - driveways, paths, garages, patios. Drives mesh, finishing, sealer, and per-m² labor.

Irregular Area. Non-rectangular slabs - L-shapes, multi-bay slabs, paths with curves.

Lineal. A single continuous run measured in metres - kerb, edge strip, expansion joint, sawn cut, perimeter formwork.

Multiple Kerb/Edge Runs (multi_lineal). Several kerb or edge runs added together as one component line.

Curved Kerb/Edge (curved_line). A curved run measured along its curve - driveway radius, garden bed edge.

Count. Individual items - dowels, joint inserts, anchors, drainage fittings.

Fixed. A flat amount that doesn't scale with measurement - pump hire, small-load fee, excavation, allowances.

Hours / Days. Labor billed by time - pour day, finishing day, supervision.

QuoteCore+ terms

Actual measurement. The real-world measurement after waste and (if relevant) slope have been applied to the plan measurement.

Component. A reusable concrete item with its own price, pack size, labor rate, and waste settings.

Customer quote. The polished, customer-facing version of the quote. For concrete work the default label is Concrete Works.

Digital takeoff. Tracing measurements directly on an uploaded site plan or slab drawing.

Extra. A non-core component bucket for pump hire, allowances, hidden items, or anything outside the main scope.

Manual quote. A quote built by typing measurements straight into the quote builder, without a digital takeoff.

Pitch multiplier. A factor that converts plan-view slab area into actual sloped surface area where a significant fall to drainage applies.

Plan measurement. The raw measurement taken from the plan, before waste or slope is applied.

Quote builder. The screen where you assemble areas, components, prices, and notes into the final quote.

Takeoff. The list of measurements that drives the quote - whether digital or manual.

Billing terms

Cap. A numeric limit on something your plan allows - quotes per month, components total, storage bytes, etc. Hitting a cap blocks new additions but never deletes existing data. See Tier limits.

Dunning. The process Stripe (and we) follow when a renewal payment fails: automatic card retries, status escalation through past_due - grace - suspended, with chances to recover by updating the card. See Billing.

Effective plan. What your account can actually use today. Usually the same as your purchased plan, but collapses to Starter during grace periods or after the trial ends.

Grace period. A 10-day window after a payment failure where you keep read access but can't create new quotes. See Billing.
