For supplier accounts - publish component libraries, manage your supplier profile, and convert catalogues to components.

Supplier dashboard

If your company is set up as a supplier (by the QuoteCore+ admin team), you get access to the supplier dashboard. This is where you publish component libraries that other QuoteCore+ users can browse and import from.

Getting supplier access

Supplier accounts are created manually by the QuoteCore+ admin team. If you want your company set up as a supplier:

  1. Contact support from Account > Support.
  2. The admin team verifies your business and creates a supplier profile.
  3. Your company dashboard gets a Supplier tab.

Only approved suppliers can publish libraries. All users can browse and import.

Managing your supplier profile

In the Supplier tab:

  • Supplier name - your trading name (must be unique across QuoteCore+).
  • Description - tell users what you supply.
  • Website URL - link to your website.
  • Service areas - regions you deliver to.
  • Roofing types - e.g. long-run, tile, membrane.
  • Product categories - e.g. roofing iron, underlay, flashings, fixings.
  • Brands - brands you stock.
  • Keywords - help users find you in the directory.

Your profile must be approved by the admin team before it appears in the public directory.

Publishing a component library

  1. Go to your Components page.
  2. Create components as normal, filling in SKU, price, product type, and notes.
  3. Components must have a SKU to be published (this is how we track updates).
  4. Click Publish Library to open the publication modal.
  5. Set:
    • Visibility - Published (visible in directory), Unlisted (link only), or Private.
    • Public title and description - what directory browsers see.
    • Roofing types, product categories, brands, keywords - for search filtering.
  6. Click Publish. Your library is now live in the directory.

Publishing an update

When you change prices, add components, or modify existing ones:

  1. Click Publish Update on the components page.
  2. The system detects what changed since the last published version (added, modified, removed, price changed).
  3. Users who imported your components get a pending update notification.
  4. They choose whether to accept or dismiss each change.

Version numbers increment automatically with each published update.

Catalogue converter

The catalogue converter lets suppliers turn a CSV price list into QuoteCore+ components quickly. Instead of manually creating each component, you upload a CSV and map columns.

Using the catalogue converter

  1. Go to your Supplier tab and click Catalogue Converter.
  2. Upload a CSV file - up to 30,000+ rows supported.
  3. Map columns - tell the system which columns map to:
    • SKU (required)
    • Component name (required)
    • Price (required)
    • Product type
    • Notes
  4. Review - see a preview of how the rows will become components.
  5. Convert - the system creates components in your library from the CSV rows.

Only 5 fields are mapped (SKU, name, price, product type, notes) to keep the process fast. You can edit the full component details (waste, pitch, measurement type, etc.) after conversion.

Column mapping

The converter supports:

  • Multi-map - create multiple column maps over the same CSV (e.g. trade price vs retail price).
  • Name limit - component names are capped at 60 characters.
  • SKU immutability - once a component has a SKU, the SKU cannot be changed (so update tracking works correctly).
  • Column highlighting - selected and mapped columns are visually highlighted during mapping.
  • Infinite scroll - large catalogues load progressively.
